Mons Chan is an Assistant Professor at the Queen’s University Department of Economics. His research mainly focuses on the economics of labour markets, firm dynamics, and trade. His recent papers have measured labour market power, markdowns, and examined what differentiates firms from one another. He is currently affiliated with Aarhus University. Professor Chan received his PhD from the University of Minnesota and previously worked as an Assistant Professor at the University of Toronto and a Post-Doctorate Researcher at Aarhus University before joining QED in 2020.
