ECON 212
Theory of markets and prices: decision-making by individuals and firms, equilibrium conditions under various market structures, and issues of individual and social welfare.
Prerequisites:
ECON 110 or [ECON 111 and ECON 112]
Corequisites:
MATH 120 or MATH 121 or [MATH 123 and MATH 124] or MATH 126
Additional Information:
A minimum grade of C in ECON 212 is required to take the next level core course ECON 310. This course presumes a knowledge of calculus at the first-year level. If you are taking calculus at the same time, you are strongly advised to take ECON 212 in the winter term so that you will have at least some calculus background before beginning this course.
