Awarded by recommendation of the Department of Economics to the departmental medalist and to the student who has written the best B.A. Honours thesis in economics.
If the Awards Committee of the Department of Economics deems that there is no suitable candidate for the best B.A. Honours thesis, then the full value of the prize will be awarded to the departmental medalist.
