My name is Chenghao(Raymond) Xi, graduated from University of Toronto. Double majored in Economics and Mathematics, along with completing a minor in statistics, my undergraduate experiences give me a wide range of training in applied microeconometrics, foundamental industrial organization theory as well as classical micro/macroeconomics theory. Besides the standard suites of economics courses, mathematics and statistics courses such as real analysis, non-linear optimizations, probability theory and generalized linear models also equipped me with tools to explore both theoretical and empirical economics.

All of my previous academic trainings boil down to my research interest in empirical microeconomics. Currently, I would like to focus on studying individual choice-making using empirical approaches such as discrete choice models and their applications/extensions in different fields, especially in empirical IO and labor economics.I am open to research assistant positions related to works in empirical microeconomics.
